Description
Miele Guard M1 Cat & Dog Bagged Canister Vacuum, Obsidian Black
Pet hair on the rug and dust around the furniture call for more than a single cleaning tool. The Miele Guard M1 Cat & Dog combines a pet-focused floorbrush, odor-reducing filtration, and stored accessories in an Obsidian Black canister designed for everyday household cleaning.
Its bagged collection system keeps collected debris in a replaceable dustbag, while adjustable suction lets you tailor the vacuum to the surface rather than treating every job the same way.
TurboTeQ Brushing for Short-Pile Carpets
The included STB 305-3 TurboTeQ uses airflow to turn its brush roller, combining brushing and suction to loosen hair and threads from short-pile carpets. An air valve helps prevent the tool from clinging to the carpet. Because the brush is air-driven, it does not use a separate electric motor.
An SBD 365-3 AllTeQ combination floorhead is also included for general carpet and hard-floor cleaning. Together, the two heads let you choose between rotating-brush cleaning and a conventional combination tool.
Odor Control for Pet Households
The Active AirClean exhaust filter contains activated charcoal to help reduce unpleasant odors. It works alongside the dustbag and motor-protection filter. This model includes Active AirClean filtration, not a factory-installed HEPA AirClean exhaust filter.

Is This the Right Pet Vacuum for Your Home?
The Guard M1 Cat & Dog is particularly suited to pet owners with hard floors and short-pile carpeting who want hair pickup and odor control in one package. For extensive thick carpeting, consider whether a model with an electrically driven powerhead better matches your flooring.
