The Riccar Pet HEPA and Charcoal Filter set is built for homes that care about both dust and odor. It pairs a high efficiency HEPA media filter with a granulated charcoal filter that targets smells from pets, cooking, and everyday life, keeping the exhaust from your R25 or R27 upright noticeably cleaner and fresher.

What is included

• HEPA media filter cartridge: Fine pleated media that captures tiny particles from vacuum exhaust so they do not end up back in your breathing air.
• Granulated charcoal filter: Charcoal granules absorb odors and help trap gases and vapors that standard filters do not handle as well, which is especially useful in pet or high traffic homes.

Compatibility

Although originally packaged as the filter set for the R25P Premium Pet upright, this style of HEPA and charcoal filter is also used across the R25 and R27 clean-air platforms. That means one kit can service multiple uprights that share the same filtration layout.

Replacement timing

For best performance, replace the HEPA and charcoal filters roughly every six bag changes in homes with pets or allergy sufferers. In lighter use situations, once a year or after about a dozen bags is usually sufficient. Fresh filters help maintain airflow, extend motor life, and keep your R25 or R27 cleaning at its rated performance.
