The Kirby Blue C550 offers the same cleaning system as the Pure Platinum model in a different finish. It brings together a powered carpet nozzle, dedicated hard-floor tool, and smaller attachments for a household that needs more than one type of floor cleaning.
Choose the Right Cleaning Action
Use the electric Multi-Surface Power Nozzle when carpet fibers need brushing as well as suction. Its six height settings let you adapt the nozzle position, and a handle-mounted switch stops the brushroll when moving to suitable hard flooring. The separate Hard Floor Nozzle provides another option for smooth surfaces.
For suitable upholstered furniture and carpeted steps, the included Turbo Air Brush concentrates air-driven brushing in a smaller attachment. This is particularly useful for hair and lint in places the full-size carpet head cannot easily reach.
Reach, Visibility, and Suction Control
The stainless steel wand adjusts for a comfortable working length or extra reach. Four airflow settings let you change suction to suit the task, and the powerhead’s LumiGuide LEDs reveal debris immediately ahead of the nozzle. Use an appropriate attachment and suction setting for each material’s care requirements.

Dual-HEPA Filtration with Bagged Disposal
The PureAir system combines a HEPA filter bag with a HEPA system filter to retain fine dust and other particles carried through the vacuum. Its 4.1-liter collection bag is replaced rather than emptied. Maintenance indicators provide reminders to check the bag, filtration system, or other operating conditions.
