Kirby C530 Signature Series Bagged Canister Vacuum with Turbo Nozzle, Carbon Black
The Kirby C530 focuses on the needs of homes with hard flooring, area rugs, and smaller carpeted rooms. Its Carbon Black canister pairs an air-driven turbo floor nozzle with a separate hard-floor tool, giving you two cleaning approaches without an electrically powered carpet head.
Turbo Brushing for Rugs and Carpeted Areas
The 11-inch turbo nozzle uses suction airflow to turn its brushroll, adding agitation to help release hair, lint, and everyday dirt. A nozzle airflow valve provides another adjustment when working on rugs. Unlike the C550’s powerhead, this nozzle has no separate electric brush motor or six-position height adjustment.
Switch to the included Hard Floor Nozzle for smooth surfaces. This lets you use a purpose-specific tool instead of relying on rotating bristles for every room. Always follow your rug and flooring care instructions.
Adjustable Suction and Practical Reach
The four-level airflow dial lets you select suction for the cleaning task. Lower settings are useful with appropriate tools on fabrics, while higher settings support more demanding pickup. An adjustable stainless steel wand helps you reach floor edges, furniture, and higher surfaces without moving the canister directly beside each spot.
Kirby lists a 37-foot cleaning radius with the cord, hose, and wand. The 24-foot cord retracts automatically after cleaning, and Glide Control wheels help the canister follow your movement around the room.
Bagged Dust Collection and Dual-HEPA Filtration
A 4.1-liter PureAir HEPA bag collects debris, while a second HEPA filtration stage captures fine particles in the air moving through the system. Replace the bag when needed rather than pouring debris from a bin. The performance display provides maintenance reminders for the bag, filter, and operating conditions.
Included Accessories
Along with the turbo floor nozzle and Hard Floor Nozzle, the C530 includes an upholstery tool, dusting brush, crevice tool and holster, accessory bag, and three spare PureAir HEPA filter bags. The smaller handheld Turbo Air Brush is optional and is not included with this model.
